Centek’s engineering team seeks engineers with a strong foundation in engineering who enjoy understanding real-world applications, developing practical solutions, and seeing those solutions through to manufacturing and implementation. Day-to-day, engineers blend technical design and engineering analysis with customer communication, quoting, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to schedule and quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate customer requirements into technical specifications and actionable project plans.

 Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of fluid/thermal concepts related to exhaust and ventilation (backpressure, head loss, temperature, airflow, etc.) or demonstrated ability to learn quickly with Centek’s training and Technical Process Overview resources.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and comfort working with detailed models and drawings as part of the design and quoting process.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn Epicor (or similar ERP) and CRM.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Customer Service Representative

Centek Marine is hiring a Customer Service Representative (CSR) as the entry point into our evolving Customer Experience (CX) team. This is a front-line, customer-facing role focused on accurate order handling, clear communication, and reliable use of our systems (CRM, ERP).

This role is structured with a clear path to transition into a Customer Experience (CX) Specialist within approximately 24 months, as you demonstrate mastery of our systems, processes, and customer communication, and begin contributing to CX metrics and continuous improvement efforts.

This position is on-site in Thomasville, GA and reports to the CFO.

What You’ll Do

1. Front-Line Customer Support & Communication

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders (phone, email, and web forms).
  • Provide professional, concise, and technically aware communication at all times.
  • Use structured processes, checklists, and decision matrices to:
    • Classify caller type (Customer, Vendor, Internal, etc.).
    • Identify need type (pricing/availability, order status, documentation, complaint, basic technical question).
    • Determine what can be resolved directly vs. what must be escalated to Sales, Engineering, or Operations.

2. Order Entry, Accuracy, and Documentation

  • Enter and maintain sales orders, RFQs, and changes in the ERP with a high level of accuracy.
  • Verify pricing, freight terms, PO numbers, shipping instructions, and documentation before orders are released.
  • Ensure clean hand-offs to Shipping, Operations, and Finance by following SOPs, checklists, and standard work.
  • Proactively identify and correct discrepancies (e.g., mismatched POs, missing BOLs, shipping method conflicts) before they reach the customer.

3. Ticketing & Case Management (CRM)

  • Log inbound requests into CRM (e.g., HubSpot) as tickets, capturing:
    • Contact and company details.
    • Need type, priority, and product line(s).
    • Notes, internal comments, and assigned tasks.
  • Work from queues and workflows to manage daily priorities and ensure no customer inquiry is dropped.
  • Own basic follow-up: acknowledgements, promised callbacks, and status updates.

4. Partnering with Sales, Engineering & Operations

  • Coordinate with Sales and Sales Engineering on quotes, changes, lead times, and complex customer requests.
  • Work with Production, Shipping, and Logistics to resolve shipment questions, freight issues, and documentation needs.
  • Escalate exceptions and customer-impacting issues using clear, fact-based summaries.

5. Quality, Compliance & Continuous Learning

  • Adhere strictly to documented SOPs, process maps, and checklists for CSR activities.
  • Maintain a personal “desk book” (quick reference files/checklists) and keep it current as processes are updated.
  • Participate in training on Centek product lines, marine applications, and system updates (Epicor Kinetic, CRM, shipping tools).

Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading Centek Marine’s commercial growth strategy across key segments, including marine OEMs (commercial and recreational), marine distributors, naval architects, and multi-vessel operators. This role will report to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and will actively develop strategic accounts and new markets while building and managing our global network of independent sales representatives and distribution partners.

This position combines field-based relationship building, structured pipeline management, and cross-functional leadership with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure a consistent, WOW customer experience and create long-term value for Centek’s partners.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a multi-year sales strategy aligned with Centek’s 10-year target for revenue and market leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing on annual sales planning, forecasting, and budget attainment, including mix by product line and target customer segment.
  • Translate company goals into clear, measurable sales KPIs, and manage performance against those metrics using CRM and reporting tools.

Business Development & Key Accounts

  • Lead strategic acquisition and expansion of Tier I and Tier II accounts in core growth regions.
  • Personally manage or co-manage select global strategic accounts through the full lifecycle.
  • Drive proactive “first strike” prospecting to get Centek specified into hull designs and engine room packages 12–24 months before production begins.

Rep & Channel Management

  • Build, coach, and manage a network of regional sales representatives and distribution partners to act as effective force multipliers for Centek Marine.
  • Set clear expectations, territory plans, and accountability for reps and distributors, ensuring they represent the Centek standard in every interaction.
  • Collaborate with distributors and OEM partners on forecasting, pricing programs, and joint go-to-market activities (co-marketing, training, events).

Sales Process, CRM & Collaboration

  • Champion Centek’s Sales Process.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality use of CRM.
  • Partner closely with Sales Engineering on custom systems.
  • Work with Marketing to refine sales tools and campaigns.

Market Intelligence & Representation

  • Represent Centek Marine at industry trade shows and key events (e.g., METS, WorkBoat Show, regional OEM events), including pre-show planning and post-show follow-up.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of competitive offerings, pricing trends, and regulatory/technology shifts (e.g., emissions, alternative fuels, large-yacht growth) and feed insights into product, marketing, and R&D roadmaps.
  • Serve as a visible ambassador for Centek’s core values in all customer and partner interactions.

Qualifications

Experience

  • B2B sales experience in a sales leadership and/or player-coach role.
  • Experience selling engineered or technical solutions into marine, industrial, or adjacent sectors strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success building and executing territory and account plans, growing key accounts, and managing rep and/or distributor networks.

Centek Marine seeks a Business Development Manager to support our sales team, help nurture customer relationships, and assist with growing our presence in the marine industry. The Business Development Manager is a sales role designed for a motivated, coachable professional who wants to build a career in technical B2B sales and account management within the marine industry. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, this person will support Centek’s growth by:

  • Developing relationships with existing and new customers
  • Executing structured outbound and inbound follow-up
  • Leveraging Centek’s Sales Playbook, CRM, and Sales Engineering team to deliver an excellent customer experience from inquiry through order.

This role provides a defined progression into territory ownership, key-account management, or additional strategic sales responsibilities for top performers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in‑person and virtual calls with current customers and prospects to understand needs, present Centek capabilities, and identify new opportunities.
  • Make outbound phone and email outreach to key prospects and customers.
  • Support follow-up on inbound leads, ensuring timely, professional responses and clear next steps are captured in CRM.
  • Meticulously record all activities in CRM to maintain clean pipelines, accurate forecasts, and full account history.
  • Create and maintain basic opportunities under the guidance of the Vice President of Sales and Sales Engineers.
  • Ensure a consistent WOW! buying experience for key company customers through proactive account management and high-touch relationship management.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering and Customer Service to obtain and translate technical details into clear customer-facing messaging, ensuring accurate, timely information for your accounts.
  • Lead account research, meeting strategy, and follow-up for your customers.
  • Conduct basic product training for distributors, reps, and customers.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of sales tools and collateral in partnership with Marketing.
  • Provide structured, data-driven feedback from your accounts to inform and refine marketing and R&D priorities.
  • Prepare for and attend industry trade shows and events
  • Travel with independent sales representatives and distribution partners in their territories (including international travel) to support meetings, training, and joint customer calls.

Qualifications

This role will be responsible for fabricating and/or TIG welding components for marine applications. The ideal candidate’s expertise will be essential in ensuring the proper construction and functionality of the boat’s exhaust systems. Attention to detail, precision welding skills, and a strong understanding of fabrication processes are crucial for success in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate components according to required dimensions and design specifications.
  • Set up, adjust, and operate TIG welding equipment, ensuring proper weld penetration, fusion, and strength.
  • Set up, adjust, and operate fabrication equipment, ensuring proper product specifications.
  • Ensure the quality of welded joints by performing inspections and tests, including visual inspections and non-destructive testing methods.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify improvements in design and fabrication processes.
  • Work closely with other team members, such as pipefitters, fabricators, and welders, to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational or technical training in welding or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a TIG welder or fabricator, specifically in stainless steel or similar materials.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and processes, including layout, cutting, fitting, and welding.
  • Demonstrated skill in TIG welding and/or fabrication ensuring precision and high-quality product.
  • Ability to operate and maintain equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
